fingerpriting and tracking protection change to disabled after full clearance of browsing data

Whenever I delete fully browsing data (all time) and everything, Tracking Protection and Block Fingerprinting become disabled - so I have to manually enable them, and I have to repeat this process everytime i do a compelte delete of browsing data (on Advanced, select 'Delete data')

if possible please fix bug in the next update because it is a bit serious, of course, now i will remember to turn these optinos bck on manually, but it is not a very good buy

I tried an uninsall and re-install of catsxp it did not solve issue.

But this does not happen on my other system that catsxp is installed on (same OS) - however, on the system which it does happen, I tweak casxp more to my liking in the settings - any idea why this may be happening? Are you aware of this issue and are there any troubleshooting steps you can recommend?

I can confirm that this behavior occurs if I clear the data for "site and chield settings". If "site and shield settings" is not checked (not deleted/purged) in history, then the tracking protection and finger printing do not turn off/become disabled.

From 2021, that has not been fixed? Is it also a bug in chrome as well?

Or maybe it is not a bug, maybe it is expected behavior, perhaps "Site and Shield settings" should not be cleared...

This is expected behavior - I thought it is a bug and I was wrong - if you clear sitte and shield setings, fingerprinting and tracking revert to Standard in brave.

But what I do not understand is why in catsxp, it reverts to disabled instead of standard as it does in brave.
