An absolute disaster: illegible writing, illegible settings menu, accent color that hides the writing...

Hi, this is a real disaster. I just updated to Catsxp 136 on my 32-bit Windows 7 Eee PC with a 10-inch screen. Now, the content of web pages has become unreadable, even on the Catsxp website and the Catsxp forum. I'm trying to post on the Catsxp forum, but my message isn't visible, and I have to use a different web browser to write this post. I tried changing the zoom, but the problem persists, and the zoom indicator remains frozen at 0. There are many, many critical display issues: illegible unreadable writing, illegible settings menu, accent color that hides the writing, etc.

Mr @Catsxp, thanks for the advice I just completely deleted my profile and same dislay problems remain, nothing change but things are getting more and more catastrophic !
I open my saved favorites and they are unreadable in Catsxp... likewise many Ctasxp settings menus are unreadable...



also I tried to install special new version of chromium 136 for Windows 7 found in github but it refuses to install...

it seems the new kernel chromium 136 is causing a lot of problems..... supermium is also having problems freezing after a certain time... it's a disaster for us Windows 7 OS users, it seems almost no chromium browsers works correctly, we hope this will be fixed please, thanks!

Local virtual machine testing shows that Win7 is normal
Has Win7 been patched with all system patches?

The last updates of my Windows 7 OS starter edition were from year 2016, and then Windows Update stopped working and there were no more updates.....

If really my OS lacks patches, then why Catsxp browser 135 , Chromium 135 for Windows 7, Yandex Browser, and Supermium 126 LTS browser don't have these kind of new problems and display bugs?

Logically, my OS doesn't need a patch, and I think these problems are caused only by the new Chromium 136 kernel.

I contacted the developer of Chromium for Windows 7 because I couldn't install the new Chromium 136 kernel. I'm currently using Firefox Nightly 139 for windows 7 and r3dfox 136 for windows 7 and I'm having no problems.

Let's note that a few months ago, to experiment, I installed vxkex, a patch to make many softwares compatible with Windows 7 OS like Chromium and many other softwares :

And vxkex didn't work well , and I couldn't uninstall these programs that i have tested . But I don't think vxkex has any impact on these bugs in Catsxp browser because I've had vxkex installed for months and haven't had any problems with previous versions of Catsxp browser, the problem occurs only with chromium 136 kernel of Catsxp !

Wow, I just read these posts!!!! Thanks !!!

I followed Mr. @Redfox's advice: chrome://flags/#ignore-gpu-blocklist by enabling this flag in Supermium Browser, which was freezing after 2 minutes of use, and Supermium no longer suffers from this bug! As a precaution, I disabled hardware acceleration in Supermium.

I haven't tried yet this flag in Catsxp yet:

because I completely uninstalled Ctasxp and all its hidden folders because i prefer waiting for a new stable version of Catsxp that resolves these issues.....

For the new version of Chromium for Windows 7 that I can't install, the developer advised me to try the zip version and not the .exe version....

It seems there's still hope for Chromium for Windows 7, but I need to do more in-depth testing to confirm these findings. Obviously, we're waiting for the new stable version of Catsxp, which we hope will resolve these issues.
For now, it seems that enabling chrome://flags/#ignore-gpu-blocklist is the best advice for Windows 7 users.....
