Using v4.9.5 Beta-3 (W7-64bit), but not sure if this is a bug and/or it may have happened in a previous version.

Occasionally on a rev change, I check settings.

I first noticed the content - page zoom was set to 25% (although my default was 110%). The 25% was not affecting web pages. I reset to ...

update: noticed on version 4.9.3 Kernel: 129.0.6668.48 all is now working. The shield is now displaying the ad stats properly.

I didn't have as many ads blocked on this laptop, but the shield data is large compared to the field name.

deleting the user data dir....same exact thing. No ads info field....but I know I had that field at some point within the last month. I don't use "new tab" often enough.

I can't understand what's changed.

I was thinking it is field related vs screen resolution. I had millions of trackers/ads ...

on newtab, pressed F12, locate to console, no errors...but warnings. see pic. Not sure where I should be checking, but this is what i snapped a pic of.

could there be an issue where the number of ads was too many digits for the resolution of the small laptop (1366x768), so maybe had an undesirable effect of blanking that ads blocked/data saved field?

There was a fairly high number of ads blocked...

noticed the Shield stats are not displaying on the New Tab Page, although selected.

Had custom backgrounds, tried with just Catsxp colors. No change.

Tried turning off, Catsxp stats, then back on. no change.

Tried with versions 4.81, 4.83 and now 4.91 beta 3. No change.

W7 64 bit.

under startup parameters, these 2 should stop your issue:

Disable detection of expired installation
--disable-catsxp-detect-outdated-install

and

Disable automatic upgrade
--disable-catsxp-update
