I would like to see the background images selection allow me to choose a folder of my choice.

Catsxp New Tab will then display a pic from that folder at X intervals, with the X being a time (4 hours, 12 hours, 24 hours, etc).

User could have choice of sequential or random pics if you want to get slick!!

Thank you! Is it reasonable to take these functions into the kernel to realise? In fact, the new tab is an extension. If you want more customisation functions, it is recommended to consider installing a new tab extension to implement it.

Alas, I have searched extensions but can't find any that display the ads blocked, bandwidth and time saved...which I really like and appreciate.

You've made changes in the new tab page already in the past (custom image was new)...so I thought it might be easy to add "custom folder" but you're the author so know best.

Oh well, we can't get everything all the time!

Other extensions cannot directly read the relevant information in the new tab!
You can add a custom background image multiple times to achieve similar functions

I thought only 1 pic could be selected, didn't think to try multiple selections.

that's pretty good. I'll play but indeed it gives similar results. Thanks for the tip!
