After updating to Ver: 5.7.3, I noticed that the "Tab Search Button" shows up occasionally on the Toolbar even when turned off in Settings and disabled in catsxp://flags/

Under normal circumstances, these settings are interconnected, and as long as one setting is in place, it will take effect. Please try setting up with a completely new configuration to see if it works

1.Settings\Appearance\Toolbar settings\Search tab - disable.
2.Settings\Appearance\Show "Search by tabs" button - disable.

yes, just turn it off in 2 places

Thank you all, got it. I finally realize that I have to open "Customize your toolbar" from Settings\Appearance\ (OR open the sidebar) to turn "Tab search" off.
