便携版如何升级

安装版支持自动更新
便携版由于缺少必要的自动更新组件(功能包括安全校验增量包升级等)，所以无法自动升级
只能下载最新版本的便携版直接覆盖旧版文件来进行升级
如果有更改过用户数据目录的，请不要覆盖 StartupParm.txt 文件

If using the portable (which I like to use) I'd suggest prior to overwriting the

chrome_proxy.exe and catsxp.exe files, rename them by adding the version number to the filename, such as catsxp314.exe

In the event of a major failure, just delete the newly installed files, remove the version from the known good files...and all is well again.

There is no need to back up these files. If there is an exception, download the old portable version directly, decompress and overwrite it again, as long as the user data is not damaged！

I understand you but if your browser update crashes and won't allow it's use (like what recently happened to us W7 catsxp users), you'd have to ensure you have another browser to be able to get to download the old version...if you don't have another browser, then it's a hassle....

Renaming the 2 files ensures you're ok (I only use 1 browser, for example). Anyway, just fwiw.
