I tried everything to do a manual offline update, but with no success.
I have Catsxp 118.3.10.4 installed on my system (Win7). Now I downloaded the full offline installer for version 119.3.11.3 and ran it. It only opened the existing Catsxp version window, no update was made.
In the Chromium installer log, there was an information, that the new version could not be installed, because I already have the older one in my system. This is crazy. A year ago, when I still used Opera as my main browser, the offline installer always did an update without any problem. But, Catsxp complains.
So, my question: Is there a command line switch I could use with the new offline setup file, in order to force it to update the existing installation on Windows 7?
(I know that there is an autoupdate service which works well, but I want to have a full control of what is being downloaded to my PC. For security reasons.)
