catsxo will display .MHT files as text rather than interpreting the HTML content. is there a setting to change this behavior?

1. Search for extensions that support MHT files in the app store, such as "MHT Viewer" or "MHTML Viewer".
2. Install the extension.
3.After installation, you can usually open the MHT file by right-clicking on it and selecting "Open with" as Catsxp, or simply dragging the MHT file to the Catsxp window.

i was hoping for a way to have catsxp open an .mht link (common i emails) within catsxp. cant find any expetnsion tat does this. edge will do it - but im trying to avoid that.

I can open mht or mhtml files with Catsxp normally.
There is a registry issue, which exists for years, but it can be solved by running this reg file I made.

Portable version?
In theory, the portable version should be able to drag and drop open or directly open file links normally
Whether the file format is registered only affects whether it supports double clicking to open

yes - portable version on pc.
i should clarify that in Catsxp, mht pages opens as text, whether as url or as specific files. it's not a matter of file association. in edge, mht urls or files open in ie10 mode and are displayed.
