I'd like to define a single key shortcut (F1-F12) to activate one of my extensions.

However, the browser allows only two key shortcuts, with the Ctrl or Alt modifier keys.

Single keys have a high probability of accidental triggering and also conflict with system keys

I personally use only single keys for shortcuts.
My setup:

F1 focus URL bar
F2 new tab
F3 search
F4 search next
F5 reload
F6 reload without cache
F10 dev tools

I was wondering if there exists a built-in shortcut to run specific javascript code, but did not find anything.
I have a JS that inverts the page (like dark mode), and would like to assign a single key shortcut for it... Clicking a bookmarklet by mouse is not as convenient.

Cancel the settings first, and then set the desired shortcut functions
It is not recommended to modify the default settings
