I don't want to expose the browser to search engines

This is a weird request but I really don't want to tell the search engine which browser I'm using. For example, with the Ecosia search engine, it always add &addon=catsxp to the URL. I know this could help the popularity of the browser itself but I truly don't want to share this information with the search engines. Please consider.
p/s: I want the search engines to know only that I'm using a Chromium based browser and even that I'm using Chrome itself.
